Risk Disclosure & Investment Disclaimer
Published policy date: June 28, 2026 · revisions not yet effective
This Risk Disclosure and Investment Disclaimer (“Risk Disclosure”) is incorporated into the Syncster Terms of Service. By using Syncster, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and accepted the risks described below.
1. Education and Product Status
This website preview provides free learning activities and hypothetical model calculations. App cards, development screenshots and roadmap sections do not promise released features. The creator agent marketplace and historical-data library are planned.
Educational results are not personalized recommendations, executable quotes or evidence that a strategy will work in a real account. Review each product’s actual release status and limitations.
2. No Investment Advice
Nothing available through Syncster constitutes:
- Investment advice.
- Financial planning.
- Portfolio management.
- Tax advice.
- Legal advice.
- Accounting advice.
- A recommendation to buy or sell any security.
- A recommendation regarding options, futures, cryptocurrencies, or other financial products.
Content made available through Syncster is for informational and educational purposes only.
3. Independent Decisions
The lessons do not assess your financial circumstances, objectives, risk tolerance or suitability for a trade. You are responsible for evaluating an opportunity and deciding whether to trade. Consult a qualified professional when you need advice about your circumstances.
4. Manual Trade Execution
The website lessons place no trades. Shared strategies and agents do not authorize automatic copy execution.
All investment decisions are made solely by the user.
Before placing any order, users should independently evaluate:
- Risk
- Position size
- Market conditions
- Liquidity
- Volatility
- Personal financial circumstances
- Investment objectives
Users must review and authorize each order. Any enabled app order flow depends on the integration and broker permissions; its availability is not established by this preview.
5. Shared Ideas, Strategies and Agents
Where shared content is available, users may review it independently. The proposed creator marketplace is a roadmap, not an active offer in this preview.
The fact that another user:
- Entered a trade,
- Exited a trade,
- Reported profits,
- Shared a strategy, or
- Maintains a strong historical record,
does not mean that copying or following similar trades will produce the same or positive results.
Differences in execution timing, account size, available buying power, market conditions, commissions, spreads, slippage, taxes, and other factors may produce materially different outcomes.
6. No Guarantee of Results
Syncster makes no representation or warranty regarding:
- Profitability
- Accuracy
- Future performance
- Win rates
- Expected returns
- Risk-adjusted returns
- Performance consistency
Past performance does not guarantee future results.
7. Market Risk
All investing involves risk.
Security prices may rise or fall rapidly because of:
- Economic events
- Earnings announcements
- Interest rate changes
- Geopolitical developments
- Government actions
- Market sentiment
- Liquidity conditions
- Unexpected news
You may lose part or all of your investment.
8. Options Trading Risks
Options trading involves significant risk and is not suitable for all investors.
Risks include, but are not limited to:
- Total loss of premium paid.
- Time decay (theta).
- Implied volatility changes.
- Assignment risk.
- Early exercise.
- Gap risk.
- Wide bid-ask spreads.
- Liquidity limitations.
- Leverage.
- Complex pricing dynamics.
Option buyers can lose the entire premium. Short options can create losses greater than the premium received; an uncovered short call can expose the seller to unlimited loss. Assignment and exercise obligations, contract multipliers, expiration procedures and broker approval matter, including for multi-leg positions.
Before trading, read the OCC Characteristics and Risks of Standardized Options and FINRA’s options guidance. These references do not imply affiliation or endorsement.
9. Leveraged Products
Products using leverage may amplify both gains and losses.
Leverage can increase volatility and may result in rapid and substantial losses.
10. Technology Risks
Technology failures may occur, including:
- Internet outages.
- Mobile device failures.
- Software bugs.
- Data synchronization delays.
- Brokerage outages.
- API failures.
- Delayed market data.
- Hardware failures.
- Cloud infrastructure interruptions.
Such events may prevent timely access to information or delay user actions.
11. Brokerage Risks
Where an app enables order entry through an integration, the broker handles acceptance, routing and fills. Permissions and available order types vary; the website preview submits no orders.
Your brokerage determines:
- Whether an order is accepted.
- Whether an order is rejected.
- Whether sufficient buying power exists.
- Whether a position can be opened or closed.
- Order routing.
- Execution timing.
- Fill prices.
Syncster is not responsible for brokerage decisions, execution quality, or brokerage system availability.
12. Market Data and Model Estimates
The web options model is a European-style Black–Scholes illustration with no dividends. It excludes fees, bid-ask spreads, slippage, liquidity limits and early exercise or assignment. Values are per share; actual contracts can have different multipliers. Many listed equity options permit early exercise, so the model does not represent every contract’s behavior.
Inputs and scenarios are hypothetical, including examples named for SPY. They are not a live SPY quote, a current option chain or an executable price. Greeks are local sensitivities, not guaranteed forecasts; changing several inputs can defeat a single-Greek prediction.
Development screenshots, historical snapshots and future datasets must carry their source, coverage and as-of time. They may be stale. Future GEX estimates depend on assumptions about positioning and do not establish observed dealer inventory. The proposed data library contains no downloadable market dataset in this preview.
Market information displayed within Syncster may originate from third-party providers.
Market data may be:
- Delayed.
- Incomplete.
- Subject to outages.
- Corrected after publication.
Users should independently verify information before making investment decisions.
13. Performance Statistics
A verified receipt label must identify the data source and what was checked. It does not by itself establish an independent audit, complete trading history, profitability, suitability or future performance. TradeSync / TradeReceipts is the same journal product direction; this preview does not certify an individual receipt.
Performance metrics displayed by Syncster may include calculations based on imported or user-provided information.
Statistics may change because of:
- Brokerage corrections.
- Corporate actions.
- Trade adjustments.
- Data reconciliation.
- Currency conversions.
- Updated historical information.
Performance information should not be relied upon as the sole basis for investment decisions.
14. User-Generated Content
Users may publish:
- Trade ideas.
- Charts.
- Performance summaries.
- Educational material.
- Opinions.
- Market commentary.
Syncster does not endorse or verify every statement made by users.
User-generated content may be inaccurate, incomplete, misleading, or outdated.
15. Taxes
Users are solely responsible for:
- Tax reporting.
- Capital gains calculations.
- Wash sale rules.
- Estimated tax payments.
- Recordkeeping.
- Compliance with applicable tax laws.
Syncster does not provide tax advice.
16. Suitability
The Service does not determine whether an investment is appropriate for you.
Before making investment decisions, users should consider:
- Financial resources.
- Investment objectives.
- Time horizon.
- Risk tolerance.
- Investment experience.
- Liquidity needs.
17. Regulatory Compliance
Users are responsible for complying with all laws and regulations applicable to their own trading activities.
Nothing within Syncster should be interpreted as legal authorization to engage in any regulated activity.
18. Limitation of Responsibility
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Syncster is not responsible for losses resulting from:
